Fifty is the number of jubilee or deliverance. It is the issue of 7x7 (72 ) and points to deliverance and rest following on as the result of the perfect consummation of time.
1 Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!
2 It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron's beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments;
3 As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the Lord commanded the blessing, even life for evermore.

In 1991, I began my ministry at Precious Oils Up On the Hill.
My ministry name is one of my favorite scripture verses in the Songs of Ascent, Psalms 133.
The Songs of Ascent Psalms 120 to 134. We read these verses as we "go up to Jerusalem" during Succoth and other Jewish holidays.
Over the last thirty-plus years, my studies of the plants of the Bible have taken me to my newest project, which I intend to have ready in the fall of 2023. My forthcoming book is an exciting project but monumental as I am sharing many of the things of the plants of the Bible I love including:

· Symbolism
· Possible plant identification from ancient times to current.
· Ancient Secrets plants named in the Bible as well as many of the controversies to try and correctly identify.

Many sources write that there are about 230 plants found in the Bible. I include fifty. Why only 50? Well, I like the number fifty and what it represents.
E. W. Bullinger (1837-1913) shares his in his book, Number in Scripture—It's Supernatural Design and Spiritual Significance.
While my forthcoming book is not the "perfect consummation" of the plants of the Bible, it is of great honor to put it together and share with you what I love about my life.
My life, for which I am grateful every day, is full. My husband, David, and I have been married for 42 years. We are the parents of six grown children and nine grandchildren.
Israel is top in my book of life's experiences. I made my first trip in 1999. This past spring I made my 47th journey.
Currently, I spend 4 to 12 weeks a year in Israel. For the most part, my volunteer duties of cooking for groups at Biblical Tamar Park and the non-profit ministry of Blossoming Rose.
Volunteering keeps me busy, but it is only part of why I keep returning since 2014—the vision of Dr. DeWayne Coxon of the park, The Garden of the Ages.
I could write a tome about the Garden of the Ages, but space does not allow it. The plan of seven gardens will have plant representations of the seven periods of History found at Biblical Tamar. I am on the Garden of the Ages committee. My involvement is in researching plants for each period—just my cup of tea.
Little did I realize when I began studying and following my inner desire to learn about the plants of the Bible, the ancient trade routes, and why I have acquired a vast library of Bible plant publications that I would be part of this exciting project. And to be joined by a team that shares in the vision of Isaiah 35, where the desert shall rejoice and blossom like the rose.

The Garden of the Ages is also a monumental task. The needs are significant both with volunteers and finances. Therefore, when my forthcoming book is published, I will set aside some proceeds to help plant, water, and maintain the gardens.
